The test conditions were stringent, with an 8-hour UV exposure at 60±3°C followed by a 4-hour condensation period at 50±3°C, repeated over a period of 3000 hours.

Our WPC Decking samples demonstrated remarkable UV resistance, with color change (ΔE*ab) measured using a sphere spectrophotometer under the D65 standard light source. The grey scale, which ranges from 1 (worst) to 5 (best), was used to assess the visual impact of aging. Here's a breakdown of the findings:

After 1000 hours of exposure, Sample #1 showed a ΔE*ab of 0.47, while Sample #2 had a slightly lower change of 0.10.

- At the 2000-hour mark, Sample #1's ΔE*ab was 1.35, and Sample #2's was 1.29.

- After a full 3000 hours, both samples exhibited a ΔE*ab of approximately 1.36-1.37, indicating a high level of color stability.
